My main goal in my child minding business is that children feel happy and safe and have an enjoyable experience whilst in my care. Its important to me that parents can leave their most treasured possessions knowing that they are in safe hands and are having a very positive, enjoyable experience.
Many previous parents ( of which you are able to contact ) have found the transition from nursery to school run much smoother for there children due to there time in my care.
In my role as a childminder I strive to reach the following aims:
1. Children will be happy.
2. Children will be safe.
3. Help build children's self esteem.
4. Provide a safe and challenging environment.
5. Help develop each child's curiosity.
6. Value each child for themselves.
7. To use and value what each child's capabilities are.
8. Build self confidence.
9. To allow and let children know that it is ok to make mistakes.
10. To access each child's individual needs and help each child to progress.
11. Involve parents / carers in child's development.
12. Enable children to make choices and decisions.
13. To value, extend and support each child's language.
14. To include all children as far as possible in all activities.
15. Form good relationships with parents / carers.
