Toddle-tots Childminding Services is an Ofsted registered childminding setting which was established in April 2003. We are based in Whitchurch in South Bristol.

Thank you for showing an interest in my setting. My name is Yvette Bray and I am an Ofsted registered childminder. Prior to childminding I worked as a nanny for over 10 years working with children as young as 3 months old, many of whom I still have contact with today!

I live at the setting with my partner Paul and our 7 year old son Kai. I work full-time as a childminder with my assistant Kath who is also my mother. We have 1 pet a 5 year old tortoise called Tom!

We like to be very involved in your childs play (if they are happy for us to be), at home we like to play with the children joining in with their fun & learning, and whilst out and about we are always guiding the children to ensure their safety we do not just sit and watch!

We are a non smoking household.

My home has been carefully adapted with babies & toddlers safety and needs in mind. My whole house & garden’s have been registered by Ofsted for childminding use. Daily risk assessments are carried out to ensure that your child has a great time in a safe environment. Risk assessments are also carried out for places we visit, your child’s safety is extremely important to us!

In my October 2009 Ofsted inspection I was graded outstanding in all areas, you can view this report on my website by following the link.

I have an 8 seat van with full business insurance enabling us to get out and about, which we like to do daily.

When working with my assistant we are registered to care for seven children under 8 years of age, of these six children maybe under five years of age and of these no more than two may be under 12 months old at any one time.

Both my assistant & I hold a First Aid Certificate which is updated every 3 years, Certificates are available to view on our playroom notice board.

All the members of my home have had full Criminal Record Bureau checks along with my assistant these are available to view when you visit.
